Maryam Khalili

I am a PhD student in Plant biology (Virology) at the University of Bordeaux in France and currently work at INRAe. My Ph.d project is a part of INEXTVIR.

Profile

As the master student of plant pathology, I have been researched on the grapevine fanleaf virus in a collaboration project between the DLR Rheinpfalz, Institute of Plant Protection, Germany, and the University of Tehran, Iran. I also was involved with a project to identify novel viruses in the grapevine. Besides, I have the experience of teaching Plant Virology to bachelor students of the University of Tehran where I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degree from. I was enthusiastic to pursue my research in Plant Virology in the frame of a Ph.D thesis and I could not imagine any better compatible program but INEXTVIR.

Although I quite enjoy reading a range of scientific books and papers, I love spending time with my husband and my son who are my best friends.  We play our musical instruments and sing together. When it comes to doing the sport, we play badminton and do yoga
