I am Coline, I am working in Belgium on vegetable viruse. I did my studies on plant biology and I am interesting in having a pluridisciplinary approach of plant viruses research. I would like to make link between growers concerns and plant virus studies.

Profile

During my studies on Plant Functional Biology at the University of Montpellier, I’ve done several internships on plant health and plant diseases. I have always been interested in the study of plant diseases to develop sustainable pest control methods.

Thanks to the ERASMUS program, I’ve spend one year at Utrecht University working on fundamental plant health research related to Induced Systemic Resistance. My last internship at Montpellier (BGPI) was about the impact of wheat cultivar mixture on plant immunity and resistance.

Finally, before starting the PhD, I worked for an association that promotes local farming through the organization of social events. I am interesting in studying plant diseases in a multidisciplinary way to boost an agro-ecological transition.
